Margaret - Encounters & Collectors Exhibition
Welcome to Winter in Banyule!  Our Encounters and Collectors Exhibition and Festival Opening Event is being held this morning from 11 am - 12 pm at the Banyule Arts Space, 14 Ivanhoe Parade in Banyule.  You'll get a first look at this community arts project showcasing the fascinating stories and collections of amazing local residents.  The project includes a photographic exhibition, a social history publication and an installation of the collections.  Come and join us for a special morning of memories, stories and music.
Visual Feast Creations: Landscape or Landfill
There are two other exhibitions and a public art installation which are also part of the Festival - Claydescope has already opened at Bulleen Art and Garden while watch out for the telegraph poles along Burgundy Street in Heidelberg!  Inspired by the traditional art form of landscape painting, a series of recycled artworks created out of materials designated for landfill can be seen on the telegraph poles as part of the 'Landscape or Landfill' public art installation.  Each piece has been cut and shaped to represent various areas of Sills Bend in the Warringal parklands.
Sean Porter Photography: Banyule 100
